The assault caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
